dc.description.abstractThe article provides information on the timing and mechanisms of the pancreas formation and differentiation of endocrine cells. Particular attention is paid to the timing and patterns of formation of different types of islets. The influence of nervous system structures on the morphogenesis of the endocrine apparatus of the gland and general patterns of development are described.
