Abstract
Chronic Granulomatous Disease (CGD) is a rare phagocytic disorder involving a reduced nicotinamide dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH)oxidase complex that results in defective superoxide generation in which phagocytic cells are unable to kill certain bacteria and fungi after ingesting them.
