Pregnancy in swyer syndrome: a clinical case
Abstract
Swyer syndrome (English: Swyer syndrome), XY gonadal dysgenesis, female gonadal dysgenesis (English: XY female gonadal dysgenesis) is a genetic disorder, a variant of hypogonadism with a karyotype of 46 XY. In Swyer syndrome, there is complete or "pure" dysgenesis of the testicles, and a female phenotype is formed. Introduction. Swyer syndrome (English: Swyer syndrome), XY gonadal dysgenesis, female gonadal dysgenesis (English: XY female gonadal dysgenesis) is a genetic disorder, a variant of hypogonadism with a karyotype of 46 XY. In Swyer syndrome, there is complete or "pure" dysgenesis of the testicles, and a female phenotype is formed with a male genotype. This is a congenital disease associated with the Y chromosome [1].
