| dc.description.abstract | Recent research suggests that taste buds may be located not only in the mucosa of the tongue, but also in the early parts of the gastrointestinal tract. In the course of our own research, we have studied the presumed areas of taste bud locations and found that all of the areas studied contain taste buds that are sensitive to basic taste sensations of varying degrees of severity. | |
