Результаты хирургического лечения вторичной глаукомы и опыт применения дренажной системы AHMED

Abstract

The article presents an analysis the results of antiglaucomatous operations, secondary glaucoma patients. In 41 cases without the use of drainage systems, and the use of the drainage system Ahmed valve in 7 patients. In this groups studied intraocular pressure indicators and vizometriya in the preoperative and postoperative periods. The technique of implantation Ahmed valve drainage system, including clinical case shows its use in post-traumatic secondary glaucoma in childhood. As a result, the data shows that antiglaucomatous operation at the present stage can achieve hypotensive effect, reduce the amount of enucleation and preserve eyesight in severe forms of glaucoma.
