Результаты интравитреального введения ванкомицина при острых бактериальных эндофтальмитах
Abstract
The article presents the results of treatment of 5 cases of acute bacterial endophthalmitis using intravitreal injection of 1 mg of vancomycin. The authors note that this method of treatment is effective and safe, it can be used in the preoperative preparation before performing a vitrectomy. Administration of modern broad-spectrum antibiotics is needed for prophylactics and treatment of acute bacterial endophthalmitis. Intravitreal injection of vancomycin doesn't have any toxic effect on intraocular structures.
