Первичная апробация программы стоматологической помощи пожилому населению Беларуси

Abstract

After carrying out the complex of dental care manipulations in 282 patients older than 65 years old, the treatment need among elderly reduced in average on 49,3%, the extraction need on 32,3% compeering with the initial level. Accordingly to the CPITN index the rate of people with the advanced stages of periodontitis decreased twice, which helped a lot in decreasing of treatment need. Worked-out dental program can be recommended for the wide introduction in Belarus.
